Monkeys!

That’s what my kids are, I swear. I took them outside after dinner tonight to play in the backyard a bit, and they were both climbing all over the swing set. Apparently, they had some steam to burn off. Megan loves to slide headfirst down the slide and hang upside down and Molly wants to be just like her big sister. They both were cracking me up tonight with their antics.

Fun with light

Megan was having a blast running around the backyard throwing this ball all around, and I really wanted to get a photo of her. The problem was that it was getting dark and I couldn’t get a good sharp picture. So I decided to play with a longer exposure, and this is what we ended up with after a few tries. I thought it was kind of cool how the ball and her feet are both a blur. She really puts her whole body into throwing that ball up into the air.

My Pink Ducky

I don’t remember where I came across it today, but I love this take on fund raising for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Please click on my ducky picture to forward it to friends & family, or to create your own. Either way, we’re helping to raise money for a great cause!

Jump!

Molly is a little jumping bean these days. She loves to jump. She can finally get both feet off the floor and she is so proud. She squats down and says “Zshump” (Jump in Molly-speak) before she does it, then she gets such a happy look on her face when she does it. I’ll be working on getting a picture soon 🙂

Halloween

The Halloween costumes have been chosen! Megan is going to be a witch and Molly is going to be a black cat. Megan’s making her “scary witch” fact in the picture above, I guess she’s planning to scare the candy out of people this year! Molly was tickled to be dressed up as a kitty. She kept crawling around saying “Meow” so it was hard to get a good picture of her!
