This year Girl Scouting celebrates its 100th anniversary. Throughout the year, there have been celebrations in honor of the anniversary. The final event of the year was a huge sing-along held on June 9th at the Mall in Washington DC. Since we live within an easy bus trip of DC, our Brownie troop rode a bus with several other troops from our area. The event was attended by around 250,000 people and broke a record for the largest sing-along. It was a hot day but I think the girls all had a good time.
